DocuTech Corp. Marks Record Year of Growth and Expansion in 2005
Idaho Falls, Idaho, Feb. 10, 2006
DocuTech Corp. (DocuTech), a leading provider of compliance services and documentation technology for the mortgage industry, reported a record year of growth in 2005 related to successful product introduction sales, key employee additions and fulfillment center expansion levels.
The success of WebXpress, its new service enabling users to meet government-mandated timelines for initial while providing increased speed and security, was a catalyst for DocuTech’s results in 2005. Within its first year as a product offering, WebXpress has been implemented by 30 percent of DT Classic users in addition to creating 25 percent of the company’s new business. The secure desktop and Web-based product enables users to better manage files by equipping them with the necessary tools to securely record and update all their loan documents in a fraction of the time previously spent with traditional methods.
"With more than 15 years of mortgage industry experience and compliance and documentation expertise, DocuTech is uniquely positioned as a leader in compliance and technology," said Ty Jenkins, CEO and founder of DocuTech Corp. "We understand that Web-based products and services as well as Spanish loan documents are the next step for mortgage professionals in the pursuit of increased efficiencies and untapped borrowers, and DocuTech has secured its place in the mortgage industry by adapting and growing its products in the Web and emerging markets space."
Perhaps most notably, DocuTech significantly expanded both its professional staff and its Fulfillment Center. At the management level, Lance Reese joined the company in March 2005 as chief operating officer, Kirt Malow became vice president of Operations in October 2005, Matt Burgoyne accepted the position of vice president of Business Development in January 2005 and Alethea Cox joined DocuTech as its new executive vice president of Sales and Marketing in December 2005.
DocuTech also expanded its sales force with the additions of Kortney Pond and Tim Schmalbeck. The compliance services and documentation technology company can also boast of four certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) with Kirt Marlow, Daniel Miller, Rik Finlayson and Jeff Heath. DocuTech’s Fulfillment Center has moved to a new headquarters, where it will create and print initial disclosures, mail the documents within three days and track the status of each loan for users.
"2005 was significant for us not only from a technology standpoint, but also related to compliance education and advocacy," said Ron Swafford, chief legal counsel and director of Compliance Department for DocuTech. "For example, our Lender Advocate, which won honors in the 2004 Mortgage Technology Awards, continued to influence our customers, our product offering and the industry as a whole in 2005, and we anticipate even more success in 2006."
